Micro Technic A-S was established in 1977 as an engineering company specializing in computer-based industrial automation, implementing custom-tailored turnkey systems in major Danish industries.

1977 | Micro Technic is founded as a turn-key automation systems provider. |

1989 | Micro Technic introduced the first PC-based industrial terminal, Micronix Induterm 100 |
| 1995 | Micro Technic acquired the company Cartaco and obtained the full product right to the No Noise product, which was sold in more than 1 mio. pieces to large OEMs with the PC business. | |
| 1998 | Micro Technic installs their first SMT line in our production | |

2000 | Micro Technic is nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year for the first time. |

|
2001 | Micro Technic launched an e-commerce website that combines the company's full range of PC/104 boards with up-to-the-minute stock availability and quotation facilities together with secure online ordering accepting all major credit cards. |

|
2001 | Micronix Eagle RTU is introduced at a local exhibition in Denmark (HI 2001). The Eagle RTU is the first PC based datalogger and RTU system at that time. |

|
2002 | Micro Technic joins the Kontron PC/104 certified I/O partner program. All Micronix PC/104 boards was certified to comply with Kontron CPU boards. |

2003 | Micro Technic assumed production rights to manufacture APW (formerly Danica Supply) power suply products. As part of this partnership, Micro Technic moved to new top-notch facilities at APW in Aarup. The new facilities provided Micro Technic with 2300 sqm production facilites which was 3 times the current area we had in Odense. |

2003 | Micro Technic introduced the worlds first PC/104 power supply with ATX control signals, Micronix PV-5127 |

2004 | Micro Technic assumes all product rights for APWs line of power supplies. As a consequence of APWs decision to withdraw from the power supply market. The agreement implied, that Micro Technic A-S would take over all product rights for this comprehensive product line and thus perform marketing activities and manufacturing of the power supplies at our production facilities in Aarup, Denmark. |

2004 | Micro Technic introduced the 8-hour prototype assembly service on electronics manufacturing with Printline. This brandnew concept was introduced at Elektronik-04, a local electronics fair in Odense. |

2004 | For the second time, Micro Technic is nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernest on Young. Micro Technic finished runners-up to the later Country winner (Kjaer Group) |

2005 | Micro Technic introduced the first GPRS/GSM modem on PC/104 form factor with integrated power suppy and I/O channels, Micronix PV-1800 |

2005 | Micronix Blackbird, a GPRS/GSM datalogger was introduced. The Blackbird immediately turned out to be a very successful in many online monitoring applications taking advantage of the mobile data communication (GPRS) |

2006 | On July 1st 2006, Micro Technic converted to Lead Free production and introduced full RoHS compliance on all our standard products. We continue to support customer who are not directly restricted by the RoHS regulative. |

2006 | Micro Technic made their first introduction on the Swedish market for EMS services by exhibiting at the Electronix 2006 show in Gothenburg. We were excited by the numbers of new customers in Sweded who attend our booth. |

2006 | Micro Technic participated for the second time on the "Elektronik"-exhibition in Odense. The show was a tremdeous success with many new and current customers visiting our booth. |

2007 | Micro Technic introduced their 3rd generation website which includes an integrated webshop for online ordering with credit cards. The website also includes partner sections, extensive product support and an instant quoting facility on our PC/104 boards and RTU products. |
